Visitors can experience an information packed hayride tour and fine dining on the historic family farm. Come and share the excitement of picking your own pumpkin at Pumpkin Patch or a gorgeous real Christmas tree at the Christmas Tree Lot.

Fun Events at Humphrey's Farm
Farm Tours / Wagon Rides
Bring your family and friends and hop on Humphrey Farms’ wagon ride tour of our historic farm in Pender County. On this informative wagon ride you have the pleasure of experiencing a working farm including cattle farming, organic agriculture, and sawmilling operations.
While onboard, you will see our cattle and our sweet donkey “Jenny” grazing on some fresh grass. You may even get to see some of the other wildlife that lives on our farm such as wild turkeys taking a stroll, deer, Canadian geese, foxes, rabbits, and squirrels.
You will be traveling along the historic “Old Burgaw Road” that runs through our farm. We will take you by our high tunnel for a peek at what is growing inside. You will then travel to our sawmill where you may get a live sawmill demonstration.
Thereafter we will circle back to the Trading Post where you will hop off and come inside for an ice cream or other refreshment. You may even want to plan your day so you can have a meal onsite at the featured food truck.

Bringing Fancy to the Farm
Come and enjoy a fine dining farm to table experience at Humphrey Farms.
Book ahead for our special event at Humphrey Farms we call Bringing Fancy to the Farm.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted and enjoy hors d’oeuvres until all guests have arrived. This is followed by a pleasurable wagon ride farm tour. Thereafter we will take you to a lovely field where we will have a long farm table already set up for you. You will be seated at the table beautifully decorated as for a 5-star restaurant and served a delicious four-course meal (locally sourced).
Your evening will end with a gorgeous sunset. Included is also live melodious music during dinner.
This event experience is only for adults.

Seasonal Attractions at Humphrey's Farm
Pumpkin Patch
Fall Season
Celebrate fall and pumpkin harvest season at the Pumpkin Patch at Humphrey Farms, Inc. where you can choose your own pumpkin for your fall decor. Besides pumpkins we also showcase other fall decor such as gorgeous Belgian mums, fall wreaths, square hay bales, and corn stalks.
You will also have a photo opportunity in front of or on the bed of our 75 Ford pickup we affectionately call “The Blue Bomb”. It will be filled with hay bales and Belgian mums.

Christmas Trees
Christmas Season
Celebrate the Christmas season with one of our exquisite locally grown Fraser Fir trees. Come out to the Christmas Tree Lot at Humphrey Farms and browse our wonderful selection of fresh-cut Fraser Fir trees. You are guaranteed to love our real Christmas trees!
Furthermore, you can also have custom wreaths and garlands that are designed for you while you wait, or you can pre-order and pick them up later. Look through our other Christmas decor offerings at the tree lot. Also do not forget to visit our Christmas Year-Round Store in the Trading Post where you will find a large selection of Christmas tree ornaments and decorations.
Of course, our dear friend Santa will be with us through the Christmas holiday for you to visit with and have your picture made with him.
Mark your calendar, real Christmas trees are available at our Christmas Tree Lot at Humphrey Farms in Burgaw between November 17, 2023 and December 22, 2023.
