The variety of products that Humphrey Farms offers ensures that there is something for everyone.

Our specialty at Humphrey Farms, Inc. is the Mama Lou’s barbecue sauce, which is our family recipe created by Gina’s grandmother Lou Ella Richardson. Lou Ella Richardson is known throughout our region as Mama Lou. Mama Lou’s barbecue sauce is “Some Kind of Wonderful”, and we can hardly wait for you to take a bottle home with you. Every pantry is incomplete without Mama Lou’s. Read more

The Trading Post at Humphrey Farms, Inc. in Burgaw is also the ideal place to shop for special gifts for family and friends. Feel free to enjoy a cup of locally roasted coffee and take a bag home to brew later.

You can also plan to enjoy some of our community’s great southern foods from one of the featured local food trucks we will have each month. We love supporting our community!

Organic Farmer's Market

The Trading Post has an organic farmers market within the west wing of the barn. Our fresh farm market fosters a community atmosphere and delivers fresh organic foods from largely Pender County Organic Farms to your table. It features locally grown seasonal produce, fresh eggs, and other locally grown foods and condiments.

As the seasons change, so will our produce inventory but you can count on it being fresh, locally grown and yummy and you may even get to chat with one of our farming neighbors while filling your bags with all kinds of goodness! We take pride in supporting our community and this is just one way we can help by giving our farming neighbors a place to bring their finest produce for you and your family and friends to enjoy.

Seasonal boxes containing fruit and vegetables will become available online soon!

Arts and Crafts Gallery

The east “wing” of the Trading Post barn will be our art, wood working, and other crafts gallery. Admire the exceptional talents of local North Carolina artists and craftsmen. Most likely you will find something special to add a distinctive touch to your home. Besides the unique artwork and wood working items you will also find high-quality hand woven/sewn items for sale.

The Arts and Crafts Gallery at Humphrey Farms also hosts different painting, woodturning, and needlework classes throughout each month. The Needlework classes include knitting, crochet, and needlepoint classes. All classes are presented by highly skilled local artists and craftsmen.

Some classes we have to offer are becoming a lost art in our busy world so sign up with your friends, and family for a fun filled night of creating new masterpieces to be cherished forever. Visit the calendar for class schedule.
